Murdock Manufacturing Women’s History Month Profile: Kristine Chavez

City of Industry, Calif. — March 16, 2023

Murdock Manufacturing is commemorating Women’s History Month in March with profiles of some of the women who play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations and manufacturing of Murdock® drinking fountains, water coolers, bottle fillers, hydrants, and more.

Today we feature Kristine Chavez, who has been with our company for 15 years. As an Executive Assistant, she is involved in many projects and functions that help the company run smoothly.

“For me, Women's History Month is about recognizing and honoring the incredible achievements of women in the past and celebrating the amazing women in my life today.” Kristine said. She added that it is an opportunity to be an example to her daughter and other young girls, showing them that they can succeed and make a difference.

Kristine says that supporting other women is an important part of women’s empowerment, including, “seeing each other as equals and not competition on this journey towards independence, fighting together for equality, and breaking down the stereotypes that have kept us down in the past.” She says women’s empowerment is meaningful to her because it reminds her she has the power to make her own dreams a reality.
